Based in Norwalk, CT, RisMedia is a real estate magazine staffed by a dedicated editorial team. As their Editorial Intern in 2025, I published stories on the housing market, real estate trends and scholarly articles. These stories ranged from in-depth data analyses to interviews from real estate agents on hot topics.

CT Mirror — Reporting Intern

Within the heart of Connecticut is the CT Mirror, a nonprofit, non-partisan digital newspaper with the goal to deliver accurate news to all Connecticut residents. During the fall 2024 semester at the University of Connecticut, I had the honor of working with their team as a Reporting Intern. My stories took me all over the state, from housing policy to the little-known hobbies that residents dabble in.

The Daily Campus — Staff Writer

The Daily Campus is the University of Connecticut’s student-run newspaper. Initially as a copyeditor, I was only involved in the publishing aspect of the daily newspaper. After spending many late nights applying AP Style to each story, I joined the Life Section as a Staff Writer and ran my own column titled “The Backlog.”

Barton Associates — Content Writing Intern

Throughout the summer of 2024 I spent the season working at Barton Associates’ Windsor, CT office. There I collaborate with a talented marketing team to generate blog posts geared toward locum tenens healthcare providers. Although my studies focused on journalism, this marketing experience opened up new avenues in my writing abilities.
